1. The promotion

This promotion is conducted by Hawthorne Skin & Beauty, ABN 43 512 818 286, of 250 Hawthorne Road, Hawthorne, Brisbane QLD 4171 ("the Promoter").

Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Promotional period

The competition opens at 12:00am AEST on 1 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 24 September 2026 ("Promotional Period"). Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility

• Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older, except employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and any agencies associated with this promotion.
• Entrants must be able to attend an appointment in person at the Promoter's clinic at 250 Hawthorne Road, Hawthorne, Brisbane QLD 4171 during the Promotional Period. Entrants who are unable to attend the clinic in person cannot satisfy the entry requirements in clause 4 and are not eligible to win.
• Entrants must have a valid Instagram account and a valid email address to enter.

4. How to enter

Entry is free. No purchase is necessary beyond the cost of the appointment booked under clause 4(c), which is charged at the Promoter's standard published prices. To enter, entrants must, during the Promotional Period:

• (a) Like and follow the Hawthorne Skin & Beauty Instagram page (@hawthorneskinandbeauty); AND
• (b) Complete the entry form on this page, providing First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Postcode and Instagram handle; AND
• (c) Book and attend, in person, an appointment at the Promoter's Hawthorne clinic via the online booking system before 11:59pm AEST on 24 September 2026.

• Entrants must complete all three steps to be eligible. Entrants who complete only some of the steps will not be entered into the draw.
• Only one (1) entry per person is permitted, regardless of the number of appointments booked or attended. Where duplicate entries are received, only the first will be counted.
• It is the entrant's responsibility to ensure their booked appointment is attended (not cancelled, rescheduled outside the Promotional Period, or a no-show) in order to remain eligible.
• Subscribing to the Promoter's marketing list is optional and is not a condition of entry. Entrants who do not subscribe are entered into the draw on exactly the same terms.

5. Game of chance

This promotion is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner, and the winner is selected entirely at random from all eligible entries. The total prize pool is $2,000 AUD.

6. Winner selection & notification

• The winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries at the Promoter's clinic at 250 Hawthorne Road, Hawthorne QLD 4171 on 25 September 2026, and announced the same day.
• The Promoter will verify that the drawn entrant has satisfied all three entry requirements. If the drawn entrant has not, a further entrant will be drawn in the same manner until an eligible winner is identified.
• The winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram and/or via the email or phone number provided in their entry.
• If the winner cannot be contacted, or does not respond, within seven (7) days of first being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to draw a replacement winner. The original winner forfeits all claim to the prize.
• The winner's first name and/or Instagram handle may be announced on Hawthorne Skin & Beauty's Instagram page and/or website. A winner who would prefer not to be named publicly may tell the Promoter, and their prize is not affected.

7. The prize

• The prize is one (1) gift card to the value of $2,000 AUD, redeemable at Hawthorne Skin & Beauty and valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
• The gift card is redeemable against Face and Body skin treatments at the Promoter's standard published prices at the time of redemption.
• The gift card excludes Lashes, Brows, Waxing, Tanning and all retail products and supplements.
• The gift card cannot be redeemed against any injectable treatment, any treatment involving a prescription medicine, or any treatment that is required to be performed by or under the supervision of a registered health practitioner, whether or not the Promoter offers such treatments during the validity period.
• The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash, in whole or in part.
• Any portion of the prize not used within the 12-month validity period will be forfeited, with no cash or credit alternative offered.
• The prize may be used across one or multiple treatments at the winner's discretion, subject to clause 8, appointment availability and the Promoter's standard booking terms.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for a gift card that is lost, stolen or damaged after it has been issued to the winner.

8. Suitability and clinical discretion

• All treatments booked using the gift card remain subject to the Promoter's usual consultation, skin assessment, patch testing and consent processes.
• Winning this prize does not entitle the winner to any treatment that the Promoter assesses as unsuitable for them. The Promoter may decline to perform a treatment on suitability grounds, and will do so where appropriate.
• Where a treatment is declined on suitability grounds, the value of the gift card remains available to the winner for other suitable treatments within the validity period.
• Nothing in this promotion is intended to encourage any person to undergo a treatment that is not appropriate for them, or to undergo more treatment than is appropriate. Entrants should not book or attend an appointment solely to enter this promotion if the treatment is not otherwise suitable for them.
• No treatment outcome is promised or guaranteed by this promotion.

9. General conditions

• The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants, including confirming Instagram follow status and attendance of a booked appointment, and may disqualify any entrant who has not genuinely fulfilled all entry requirements.
• The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits false or misleading information, or who breaches these Terms and Conditions or any applicable law.
• The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend this promotion, or these Terms and Conditions, without notice, as a result of an event beyond its control, subject to any applicable law.
• The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies any right or remedy available to a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be limited, excluded or modified.

10. Privacy

• The personal information collected as part of this promotion (name, phone number, email address, postcode and Instagram handle) is collected by the Promoter for the purposes of administering this promotion, verifying eligibility and contacting the winner.
• This information is handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
• The Promoter will only use an entrant's details for marketing purposes where the entrant has separately and expressly opted in to receive marketing. Entrants who do not opt in will be contacted only in relation to this promotion.
• Entrants may withdraw their marketing consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting the Promoter.
• Entrants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by contacting the Promoter.

11. Instagram and Meta

• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
• Information provided by entrants is provided to the Promoter and not to Meta.
• By entering, each entrant completely releases Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any and all liability in connection with this promotion.
• Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter, not to Instagram or Meta.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 9, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, and agents) excludes all liability for any loss (including but not limited to indirect, special, or consequential loss) or damage arising out of or in connection with this promotion, including but not limited to entry into the promotion or the taking of the prize.
